Everyday Magic, Inc. is a well established child development center, providing the families of Lakeshore School quality before and afer school childcare with a dedicated and outstanding staff.
The program offers a wide variety of activities to provide children and youth with many opportunities for success and positive self-expression. We focus on meeting the individual needs of children and provide an environment that encourages the discovery of their talents. We also work with children to build trusting communication to help them through their various stages and assist with resolution and improved decision-making processes.
Mission Statement - Our mission is to support the growth and development of school age children, families, and childhood professionals through children's programs and services.
Philosophy - We believe in caring for and nurturing the individual needs of the whole child by balancing their daily experience to address sensory and emotional development. The program strives to build a safe community that respects diversity in all aspects and encourages creativity using developmentally appropriate practices.
Parent Responsibilities - We believe that parent participation is vital for the good of both your child and the program. We require attendance at parent meetings and participation in our three fundraisers each year (e.g. Gift Wrap, Raffle, Night Out, et al). Equally important is each parent's donation of 20 volunteer hours each year in one of the following areas: classroom guest, maintenance, and/or committee work.
